COVID-19 Disposable Surgical Non-woven Mask

Due to the current COVID19 pandemic, there is an increasing demand for disposable non-woven masks as they are necessities to protect others and limit the spread of the virus.

Disposable masks are made of melt-blown non-woven polypropylene (PP), which is made by melt-blown technology. Non-woven PP is a cost-effective mask material with low manufacturing cost. Due to their microscopic pattern and structure, they provide better bacterial filtration and air permeability. They have at least 95% bacterial filtration efficiency. In addition, they are lightweight, waterproof, flexible and elastic. Finally, they are more hygienic and clean because they are disposable.

Disposable surgical masks have 3 layers or the 2 layer, the middle layer is a microfibre filter which can filter most microparticles. The inner layer of the masks absorbs moisture from your saliva or mucus whereas the outer layer of PP repels water.
